The Blahs

With Aileen 6 off to the beta readers, the cover commissioned, and as of this morning the blurb written, I’m at loose ends for my afternoon. I’ve tried to summon the motivation to do something. Anything. But so far I haven’t been successful.

Here are the tasks I’ve started–and abandoned–in the past few hours.

Grocery Shopping. Cleaning. Organizing the mess of my jewelry drawer. Brainstorming Firebird 5. Answering emails. Reading a book. I’m pretty sure I also abandoned making tea. I boiled the water but never steeped the leaves.

I don’t know if it’s my usual post book humdrums or the overcast weather, but there’s a whole lot of nothing happening over here. Maybe I need another nap. Those are always nice, and since I do a lot of brainstorming in that odd zone between waking and sleeping, I can even tell myself I’m working. 😛

Tomorrow will be better. Hopefully.

Do you have a release date for Aileen 6 and will the book and audiobook release at the same time? I am a total fan of all your series especially The Firebird Chronicles and Aileen Travers Series. On a side question will Brax and Caroline end up together will they get their own book? They do seem to have chemistry!

  May 16 is the release date. Unfortunately, the audio book will likely come after the release of the ebook and paperback. As for Brax and Caroline, the original plan was to write their story eventually but I have so many new book ideas that I can’t keep up.
