About The Author
T.A. White
T.A. White is the pseudonym for Tobey White. She is a USA Today Bestselling author who writes Science Fiction/Fantasy novels that contain a hint of romance. She was born in Tacoma, WA and spent her development years traveling the world due to her dad being in the Marine Corps. It was in this phase of her life where she tried to co-author several books with friends which always ended in failure. Her first writing partnership came to a tragic end a day after it began due to an incident that will forever be known as the cookie fiasco.
In 1999, she moved to Columbus, Ohio where she attended high school before going to the Ohio University Scripps School of Journalism. All attempts at co-authoring a book in these years also met with failure.
Throughout her career, she has held a variety of jobs. She worked at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium (but not as a zookeeper). She worked at a pool (but not as a life guard). After college, she followed in her parents’ footsteps and joined the Army (where she was a soldier). It was while deployed to Afghanistan that she started writing her first published novel, Dragon Ridden, before getting the idea for a second, totally different, series called The Broken Lands. Upon returning to the states, she exited the military and finished her novel while looking for a normal person job.
Today, she lives in Delaware, OH with her husband and their two cats, Loki and Odin, who view themselves as her overlords. They are harsh taskmasters as long as they aren’t distracted by long naps on Tobey’s keyboard or the yummy, yummy treats disguised as the writer’s plants.
